Different from conventional energy sources such as coal and natural gas, nuclear heating began to emerge this year, in Shandong, Liaoning, Zhejiang and other places, nuclear heating has served the surrounding residents, then how to achieve safe and efficient nuclear heating?
In Haiyang, Shandong province, the State power investment "warm core No. 1" nuclear energy heating project recently began low-temperature trial operation, which is also the largest nuclear energy heating project in the country, covering nearly 5 million square meters of urban heating, serving 200,000 residents.
The reporter learned that in the process of nuclear heating, there is only heat exchange and no medium exchange.
In Dalian, Liaoning province, the Hongyanhe Nuclear Power Plant nuclear heating demonstration project was officially put into operation. This project is the first nuclear heating project in northeast China, with a planned heating area of 242,400 square meters, which will provide winter heating for nearly 20,000 local residents.
In Haiyan, Zhejiang, south China's first nuclear energy heating demonstration project - China National Nuclear Group Qinshan nuclear power heating demonstration project is under construction, to the end of the "fourteen five" project is completed and put into operation, can meet about 4 million square meters of heating demand, can reduce the annual standard coal consumption of about 24,600 tons.
Domestic geothermal heating development prospects are broad
The industrial scale of the 14th Five-Year Plan exceeded 70 billion yuan
In addition to nuclear heating, another clean energy geothermal heating has also entered a stage of rapid development, geothermal energy is a green low-carbon, sustainable use of renewable energy, with large reserves, wide distribution, stable and reliable characteristics. How is the development of domestic geothermal heating at present and how big is the market space in the future?
Ms. Li of Tianjin just moved into a new home this year, where the community is using geothermal heating, and ordinary heating is different, the use of heat from the underground 2800 meters deep geothermal resources, and the use of geothermal floor heating is more suitable for.
The geothermal heating of Ms. Li's home is to extract the geothermal water naturally stored in the ground at a certain temperature to the ground by drilling Wells, for heat exchange, and then transfer the heat to thousands of households through the heating network.
According to the evaluation results of the China Geological Survey, the annual exploitable resources of shallow geothermal energy in more than 300 large and medium-sized cities in China is equivalent to 700 million tons of standard coal.
At present, the price of coal and natural gas remains at a high level. In contrast, the development and utilization of geothermal resources, although the initial investment is large, has a cost advantage in the later operation.
Liu Shiliang, general manager of Sinopec Nova Company: If the geothermal resources are about 80 ° C, its cash cost can be controlled at about 5 yuan per square meter in each heating season.
Data show that by the end of 2020, China's geothermal heating area has accumulated 1.392 billion square meters, which can replace nearly 37 million tons of standard coal every year. It is estimated that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, the scale of China's geothermal industry will exceed 70 billion yuan.
"Straw energy" energy saving industrial waste heat into treasure
In order to achieve clean heating, circular economy is also playing an important role, in some areas of the country, the use of straw, industrial waste heat to heat has become a new trend, to achieve the transformation of waste into treasure, clean and low-carbon.
In Ezhou, Hubei Province, a biomass pyrolysis polygeneration line is processing recycled straw, and it is estimated that each ton of straw pyrolysis can produce more than 200 cubic meters of biomass gas, 350 kilograms of biomass carbon and other resources. This project can comprehensively utilize 53,000 tons of agricultural and forestry waste every year to supply gas to surrounding 6,000 farmers and excess gas for power generation.
Experts said that the development and utilization of biomass energy such as straw, in heating and other scenarios has achieved an effective alternative to traditional fossil energy, according to incomplete statistics, China's biomass clean heating area is about 300 million square meters.
In Shandong Taishan Iron and Steel Group, the waste heat generated by the blast furnace and converter in the production is being effectively recovered through four waste heat heating stations, to the surrounding 2 million square meters, more than 20 villages and communities, and this project can save nearly 30,000 tons of standard coal every year.
According to statistics, as of 2021, the total area of low-grade waste heat used for heating in thermal power, iron and steel metallurgy, petrochemical, building materials, large data centers and other enterprises is about 215 million square meters, and there is still a large utilization space in the future.
