Recently, nine leaders and key cadres of overseas telecom network fraud criminal groups were arrested in Cambodia and escorted back to China, and a large amount of criminal evidence was seized. Preliminary investigation, involving more than 100 cases, involving hundreds of millions of yuan.

In September 2022, comrades of the Hebei Provincial Criminal Police Corps followed the Ministry of Public Security's "nail pulling" working group to Cambodia. Under the unified command of the Ministry of Public Security and with the strong support of the China-Cambodia Law Enforcement Cooperation Coordination Office and the police liaison officer of the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia, nine suspects were arrested on January 3 after nearly four months of unremitting efforts.

Due to the differences in customs, climate conditions and geographical environment in a foreign country, language communication barriers and differences in the legal systems of the two countries, the local epidemic is relatively serious, which has brought great difficulties to the work of the task force.

However, the task force actively contacted local Cambodian police, courts, immigration and other departments to communicate relevant clues and evidence in a timely manner and maximize the support of local authorities.

As of December 2022, the Police Force of Hebei Provincial Public Security Department organized 29 police in Tangshan, Handan and other places to successfully arrest 9 leaders of overseas telecom network fraud criminal groups.

On the morning of January 8, at the Huozhai toll station in Shijiazhuang City, the provincial Public Security Department and the municipal public Security Bureau held a criminal handover activity.
