Following the removal of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance from its list of registered cryptoasset service providers (CASPs), the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) announced on Wednesday that the registration of IQOPTION EUROPE LTD with registration number 247/14 has been revoked.

According to Article 61E (5) (b) of the Revised Prevention and Suppression of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Act of 2007, as well as Article 7 (1) (a) of the Cryptographic Asset Service Provider Registration Directive, the CySEC made a decision to revoke the registration of the aforementioned entity at its meeting on August 1, 2023.

The regulatory agency explained that IQOPTION EUROPE LTD has not provided encrypted asset services for six consecutive months.
