The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) today announced the suspension of Capital Investment Partners Pty Ltd (Capital Investment Partners) and DGR Bloodstock Services Pty Ltd (DGR) are Australian Financial Services (AFS) licences for both companies.
The regulator said in the statement that the licenses were revoked because Capital Investment Partners and DGR had ceased to carry out financial services business.
ASIC explained that if a body corporate ceases to engage in financial services business, ASIC can cancel its AFS licence without a hearing.
Capital Investment Partners received its AFS license (License number: 292416) on October 13, 2005. DGR received its AFS license (License No. 288153) on 8 July 2005.
