The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has updated its blacklist of unregulated entities by adding eight new websites belonging to entities that are not authorized to provide investment services and/or carry out investment activities.

The eight illegal websites are as follows:

● world-trade-center.io

● financista.com

● swiftpuprime.com

● ocdfinances.net

● ocdfinances.org

● inverbid.net

● inverbid.com

● inverbid.co

The Cypriot financial regulator warned investors to exercise extreme caution when dealing with investment companies to avoid risks.

This follows the decision of the Board of Directors of CySEC to fine the Cypriot investment firm Itrade Global (CY) Ltd for a total of EUR 1 million for violating several provisions of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Act 2017.
