The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) today announced that it has revoked the Cyprus Investment Company (CIF) licence of currency pair and CFD broker F1Markets Ltd, number 267/15.
In accordance with Article 8(1)(a) of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Act 2017 and Article 4(7) of Directive DI87-05, the CySEC decided at its meeting on 5 December 2022 to revoke the Cyprus Investment company licence of the aforementioned broker.
The regulator explained that it made the decision because F1Markets had voluntarily given up its license.
Last week, CySEC also revoked the Cypriot Investment company licence of FF Simple and Smart Trades Investment Services Ltd.
