CONSOB, Italy's financial watchdog, blacklisted four more websites yesterday for providing unauthorised financial services. So far, the total number of illegal websites blocked has reached 886.

The four sites blacklisted by CONSOB are as follows:

"IKON CFD" (www.ikon-cfd.com, related pages https://my.ikon-cfd.com and https://webtrader.ikon-cfd.com);

BTC Capital Group (www.btccapitalgroup.com);

Trezocapital (www.trezocapital.co);

EZ2GO Ltd (web site (https://europemarket.io) and the related web page https://client.europemarket.io and https://webtrader.europemarket.io).

The regulator explained that blocking the sites could take several days due to technical reasons.

By the end of last month the CONSOB had banned three websites for illegally providing financial services.
