Nasionale per leSocietae la Borsa (CONSOB), Italy's financial market supervisory authority, has ordered the banning of eight new websites that illegally offer financial services and financial products, seven of which are illegal financial intermediaries and one of which offers financial products without a prospectus.
Since the authority was granted in July 2019, the total number of entities on CONSOB's regulatory blacklist has reached 825.
Details of the seven illegal financial intermediary websites are as follows:

Consob said the five platforms were not registered with the regulator and did not have the authority to offer financial services to Italian investors. These sites offer forex, CFDS and cryptocurrency derivatives.
According to Consob's announcement, ISPs in Italy are complying with the order to clean up the sites, but for technical reasons, the blocking action against the sites may take several days to take effect.
