Description:After the 30 index members, the five closest market capitalization non-index member listed companies include WESTPORT Holdings (WESTPORT), QL (QL), SUPERMX (SUPERMX), KOSSAN (柅) and INARI (INARI).

FTSE RUSELL will review the status of the 30 companies in the FTSE Malaysia Composite Index (FBMKLCI) in the near future, with the market predicting that glove stocks could be pushed out of the index.

At present, there are two glove stocks in the FTSE Malaysia Composite Index, namely TOPGLOVE and HARTA.

Market participants predict that INARI has the potential to be included in the FBMKLCI, and if the company includes 30 member stocks, it will be the first time in history that a technology stock has become an index stock.

After the 30 index members, the five closest market capitalization non-index member listed companies include WESTPORT Holdings (WESTPORT), QL (QL), SUPERMX (SUPERMX), KOSSAN (柅) and INARI (INARI).

Sublamar was excluded from FTSE Russell in the last review, and its market value was RM10.5 billion on June 30 this year, and has now halved to RM5.24 billion.

High-yielding 柅 exports tumbled 35.8% to RM6.24 billion from June 30 at RM9.72 billion.

Therefore, these two glove stocks are "re-serving as wives" and have no chance to be included in the FTSE Composite Index of Malaysia.

Glove stocks have been falling southward since April, as the average selling price of gloves has fallen; To add insult to injury, Soberma has recently been detained by the United States customs into the United States port of products, if it can not be solved, profits will be hit.

Supar shares fell to RM1.89 from RM4.01 in early June while high-yield 柅 products fell to RM2.44 from RM3.81.

Companies expected to be on the waiting list for index members include KLCC Trust Holdings (KLCCP) and Airports Malaysia (AIRPORT).

When the FBMKLCI conducted its review in June this year, MRDIY Group (MRDIY) became a new member, edging out Supermah.

Suparma joins four other companies in the FBM MID70 index, including D&O Green Technology (D&O), GREATEC (GREATEC), Hong Leong Industries (HLIND) and Hesun Holdings (UMW).

DSONIC, EKOVEST, IOI Industries (IOIPG), KLCC Maternity Care (KLCCP) were removed from the FBM MID 70 index.
