Malta's financial services authority (MFSA) has noticed a called Crypto Foxtrades entity, the entity in the presence of the Internet at http://www.cryptofoxtrades.com/. The entity claims to be "a licensed and regulated trading platform serving more than 500,000 clients worldwide."
Crypto Foxtrades also claims to be "licensed and regulated by the MFSA as a Category 3 Investment Services Provider."
The MFSA wishes to remind the public that Crypto Foxtrades is not a Maltese registered company, either in Malta or abroad, and is not licensed or otherwise authorised by the MFSA to provide exchange services or financial services that are licensed or otherwise authorised under Maltese law. Therefore, the public should refrain from any business or transactions with such entities.
The MFSA would like to remind financial services consumers not to engage in any financial services transactions unless the entity they have identified as transacting with is authorized by the MFSA or another reputable financial services regulator. Investors should also exercise caution when accessing financial services through non-traditional channels such as the phone or social media.
