The California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) has updated its list of fraudulent online cryptocurrency trading platforms based on consumer complaints received. DFPI issued warnings to 17 cryptocurrency brokers and websites within two days. DFPI urges consumers to remain cautious before responding to any investment or financial service solicitation.

DFPI stated that these trading platforms attempt to arouse consumers' curiosity through the "pig killing plate" scam, and then create fake identities online, establish relationships with consumers through social media, information, and dating applications, and further commit fraud.

The warning list includes Tahoe Digital Exchange, TeleTrade Options, Tony Alin Trading Firm, Hekamenltd/Total Markets Limited, Trade 1960, Yong Ying Global Investment Company Limited, Unison FX, VoyanX.com, ZC Exchange, and more.
