The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) in the UK announced that from October 1 to November 30, 2022, 10 companies defaulted, an increase from the previous two months.
Sabah Carter, Chief Data, Intelligence, and Technology Officer of FSCS, said: "FSCS aims to protect consumers across the UK and contribute to financial stability. We are contacting consumers to let them know that if they suffer losses due to defaulting financial services companies, they may receive compensation, and customers can directly claim compensation from us
After investigation by FSCS, the 10 companies confirmed to have defaulted include:
