The trading days of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange are from Monday to Friday (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays), with the following hours:

Hong Kong - trading hours in the securities, stock futures, and stock options markets

Pre market period 09:00-09:30

Morning period 09:30-12:00

Afternoon period 13:00-16:00

The closing bidding period is between 16:00 to 16:08 and 16:10, and the market is randomly closed

*There will be no continuation of morning and afternoon trading on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, or Lunar New Year's Eve.

Hong Kong - Trading hours in index futures and index options markets

Pre market period * 08:45-09:15

Morning period 09:15-12:00

Opening hours before market opening * 12:30-13:00

Afternoon period 13:00-16:30

Post market trading period 17:15-03:00*

*Only applicable to Hang Seng Index, Small Hang Seng Index, and H-share index futures.

Remarks:

The half day closing time for stock index futures and options, dividend futures, Hang Seng Index volatility index futures, and BRICS market futures is 12:30 noon. The half day closing time for stock futures and stock options is 12:00 noon.

The self-defined terms of the Hang Seng Index and Hang Seng China Enterprise Index index option contracts may require the opening of option series 30 minutes before market opening and closing, but the requirement to open relevant series is not accepted on the expiration date of the contract.
