Description:

The commonly used types of buying and selling orders for Hong Kong stocks are "competitive limit orders", "limit orders", "enhanced limit orders", and "special limit orders".

Bidding limit order

A bidding limit order is a buying and selling order with a specified price, applicable to the pre market period. After the end of the pre market period, any unfinished bidding limit orders that do not deviate from the quoted price by nine times or more will automatically be transferred to the continuous trading period and will be considered as limit inventory in the waiting queue for the entered price.

Limited price order

A limit order can only be paired with a specified price, and the input price of a put order cannot be lower than the best buy price (if any), while the input price of a buy order cannot be higher than the best put bid (if any). Any unfinished limit orders will be stored in the waiting queue for the entered price.

Enhanced Limited Price Order

Enhanced limit orders are similar to limit orders, except that the former can be paired with up to 10 waiting teams at the same time (i.e. the best price team to the 10th waiting team located 9 price points away), but the transaction price must not be lower than the input price. The input selling price of the enhanced price limit can be 9 price points lower than the optimal buying price, and the input buying price can be 9 price points higher than the optimal selling price; After pairing, any outstanding order balance will be converted into a general limit order based on the originally entered specified limit price, and stored in the waiting queue for the entered price.

Special limited price order

A special limited price order can be paired with up to 10 waiting teams (i.e. the best price team to the 10th waiting team located 9 price points away) as long as the transaction price is no less than the input limit price. A special limited price order does not have a limit on the input price, but the selling price must be equal to or lower than the best buying price at that time, or the buying price must be equal to or higher than the best selling price at that time. After pairing, the trading system will cancel the outstanding balance in the original trading order.
