Vantage is the official partner of the McLaren Extreme E team, displaying the brand logo on the front panels and roof of the car.
Extreme E is an innovative all-electric off-road series that will take place in five locations around the world that have already been disrupted or impacted by climate change, and challenge teams will use electric SUVs for off-road racing to promote the use of electric vehicles and raise awareness of low-carbon environmental protection. With Extreme E's emphasis on the impact of climate change on some of the world's remote environments, Vantage and Extreme E's philosophy coincide, and they also hope to provide a trading channel for remote areas of the world and help people in these areas have financial investment opportunities.
The partnership between Vantage and McLaren Racing stems from a shared vision of the two companies' fundamental philosophies and values, as well as a shared vision for the future: sustainability, gender equality and diversity, addressing pressing environmental issues while providing the world's first gender equal racing platform.
2022 is the first year that the McLaren MX racing team has announced its participation in Extreme E's global championship, only the second year that the Extreme E Series has hosted the series. The addition of Vantage represents our recognition of the fundamental philosophy of Extreme E and McLaren Racing's commitment to the environment. The sponsorship will include placing the Vantage brand logo on the front panels and roof of McLaren MX cars, and drivers Tanner Foust and Emma Gilmour will wear Vantage colours for five races.
David Shayer, Chief Executive Officer of Vantage UK, said:
"Vantage's partnership with McLaren Racing is a big step into the world of tomorrow. The company shares our value for speed, courage and innovation. In the process of rebranding, we are taking a corporate self-assessment and want to support a movement that shares our mission to put environmental protection, carbon neutrality, social equality and inclusion at the heart of our business."
"Given that we are a brokerage firm and have a history of providing a high level technology platform for fast trade execution, which coincides with racing excellence and speed, we locked in on Extreme E and McLaren. Beyond the common aspirations of the industry, the two companies want to contribute to the pressing environmental and social issues facing the planet, raise awareness, reduce waste, and confront the daunting challenges of today's and tomorrow's world."
McLaren Racing Chief Executive Zak Brown said:
"We are thrilled to be working with Vantage in the first season of Extreme E. It is important to us to work with a partner who embodies our team values, and Vantage shares our aspirations for sustainable growth, innovation and performance."
"Extreme E is an exciting new chapter for McLaren Racing and partnering with Vantage supports us as we take this important step in expanding our racing portfolio while accelerating our learning in sustainability."
