PT ESANDAR ARTHAMAS BERJANGKA (EAB) is a limited liability company engaged in financial services, especially futures trading. As a futures broker, EAB was established in accordance with Law No. 32/1997 on commodity futures trading and Government Regulation No. 9/1999 (PP) on the implementation of commodity futures trading.


The other provisions that form the basis for establishing EAB are Presidential Decree No. 12/1999 on commodities that can be traded in commodity futures, as well as various other technical regulatory bodies (BAPPEBTI) appearing in the form of the Commodity Futures Trading Officer Act, numbered 1 to 19, which technically regulate the trading procedures and institutions of commodity futures exchanges.


PT ESANDAR ARTHAMAS BERJANGKA is registered and headquartered in Jakarta. The articles of association of the company are contained in deed No. 38 dated February 16, 2004, drafted by Marina Soewana, SH, a notary public located in Gunung Sahari, central Jakarta. As a futures broker, the company is registered as a member of the Jakarta Futures Exchange (BBJ) and PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (Persero), and is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Regulatory Authority (BAPPEBTI).


As is well known, other futures brokerage companies have been busy processing financial contracts such as foreign exchange and indices through alternative trading systems (SPA). The data shows that compared to the total trading volume of the Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX), the contribution of commodity products is still less than 1%.


On the other hand, PT EAB hopes to become a pioneer among stakeholders in futures trading, where commodity contracts are also feasible and profitable. In addition, Law No. 32/1997 clearly carries the "label" of the "Commodity Futures Trading Law", whose task is to develop goods produced by Indonesian farmers.
