BENDIGO AND ADELAIDE
Our history began with the Bendigo Gold Mine in 1858, when we responded to the rapid development of immigrants by establishing the Bendigo Mutual Aid Permanent Land and Building Association to improve the conditions for thousands of immigrants seeking wealth.
Shortly after 1877, the Hindmarsh Architectural Society of South Australia was established, with the aim of owning a house as the cornerstone of a successful community, and everyone should have a house.
These businesses, along with over 80 other organizations, form the Bendigo and Adelaide Banking Group, an Australian owned top 100 listed company on the Australian Stock Exchange with over 110000 shareholders.
The assets managed by Bendigo and Adelaide Bank exceed $71.4 billion, with a market value of approximately $3.3 billion.
We are one of the largest banks in Australia, with over 7000 employees, helping over 1.9 million customers achieve their financial goals.
Our vision is to become the preferred bank in Australia, and we believe that our success is driven by our goal - to promote the prosperity of our customers and communities, rather than breaking away from prosperity.
We are committed to building the prosperity of communities, customers, shareholders, and partners. We firmly believe that successful customers will create more successful banks. Our history, vision, values, and goals tell us who we are today and where we will see ourselves in the future.
We always act in an ethical manner and ensure that our pricing is fair and just, thereby building trust. Our directors are responsible for developing the framework and policies we manage. Our executives embed and execute these instructions, ensuring that we bring value to all stakeholders.
Our headquarters are located in Bendigo and Adelaide, and we are a proud bank centered around the region and community. Through our branch network in Australia and our agricultural comprehensive business experts in rural real estate, we are committed to building long-term relationships with clients, shareholders, and the communities we serve.
